At last, the sound of music!
And
the first photographs of the new
studio in Sint-Truiden!
Yesterday, for the first time, music sounded from the loudspeakers...
It
wasn't just stereo sound, it was
5.1 surround sound immediately,
coming
from DVD, Blu-ray and SACD...
And
today I show,
as promised a long time ago, photographs from the new studio for the first time ever.
A lot of work has to be done, but slowly
but steadily everything takes its definitive form...

The new studio in numbers

Pro Tools | HDX Control Room: 4,79 m x 6,85 m = 32,81 m²

Materials used for acoustic treatment:
- more then 500 m of construction wood
- more then 300 m2 (12,3 m3) of high density rockwool
- more then 1000 screws + wall plugs
- more then 30 m2 of Cedar wood
- more then 6 m2 of quartz dimension stone
- more then 60 tubes of bonding agent (mainly TEC7)
- more then 90 m2 of acoustically transparent fabric
- more then 8.000 staples
- more then 700 m of double sided tape
- 93 m2 floor coverings (keramic tiles, carpet, Novilon)
- 64 m2 acoustically transparent stretch ceiling
